Jersey Mike's in Cullman is actively seeking dependable Shift Leaders and Crew Members for all shifts. We offer clear career growth and a pay structure that is guaranteed to be $2.00/hour above your base rate, offering wages far above the Alabama minimum.

Compensation and Guaranteed Earnings

Our leaders start at more than double the Alabama minimum wage. We offer a premium compensation structure, making us highly competitive in the Cullman market. Note: Weekend availability is a must for all positions.

· Starting Base Pay (Crew & Future Leaders): $12.00 per hour (All new hires start here).

· Guaranteed Effective Pay (Starting): $14.00 per hour (Base Pay $2.00/hr Guaranteed Tips).

· Hours: Full-time (30–45 hours per week) or Part-time (15–29 hours per week) available.

We promote within! All team members start at the same base pay, and raises are performance-based.

· Performance-Based Raises: We offer raises on each station and level completed as you advance through our internal certification process. Your base pay increases as you gain skills and move toward Shift Leader roles and Hourly Manager positions. We invest in your career!

· Guaranteed Tips: We guarantee tips will bring your total hourly compensation to a minimum of $2.00 more than your base pay. If tips fall below this rate, the company covers the difference.

Open Positions and Responsibilities

We are hiring for All Shifts (Daytime, Midday, Evening, and Closing).

1. Shift Leader / Hourly Manager (Leadership Focus)

· What You'll Do: Lead the team, ensure smooth shift operations, coach and train Crew Members on service and technique, manage cash handling, and maintain food quality standards.

· Requirements: Leadership experience is preferred, but motivated Crew Members who prove reliability and skill are promoted internally.

· Hours: Ability to work a flexible schedule (including nights/weekends) to hit 30–45 hours per week.

2. Crew Member (Team Focus)

· What You'll Do: Master the art of slicing and sub assembly (The Mike's Way), provide fast and friendly customer service, and assist with food prep and cleanliness.

· Quality Focus: Work with high-quality meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh daily, differentiating us from typical fast-food environments.

· Requirements: High energy, dependability, and must be 18 years or older (preferred) for safe slicer operation.
