We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leaders/Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. Duties
- Lead and oversee shift operations to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant performance while maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety.
- Supervise staff during shifts, including training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to enhance their skills in food handling, customer service, and food safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize food production and cost efficiency.
- Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards through regular kitchen inspections and staff training on proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with kitchen management tasks including cooking supervision, food preparation oversight, and maintaining cleanliness in line with sanitation guidelines.
- Support management in budgeting efforts, labor scheduling, and implementing operational policies to meet business goals.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Participate in interviewing prospective team members and contribute to staff training & development initiatives that foster a motivated work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems for transaction processing and reporting.
- Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and managing food production processes.
- Prior involvement in restaurant management roles including shift management, staff training & development, or assistant manager responsibilities.
- Knowledge of catering, banquet service, or hotel food service operations is advantageous but not required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, handle multiple priorities seamlessly, and uphold exceptional customer service standards.
