We are currently looking for a high-energy, results-driven Commission-Based Recruiter / Sales Professional to help us expand our footprint. This is a unique opportunity to act as a talent partner for local and regional businesses while leveraging a massive, pre-existing database to fuel your success.
The Role: Sales-Driven Recruitment
This is a sales-focused recruitment position. You won't just be matching resumes; you will be the face of Jersey Hired, proactively identifying companies with hiring needs and introducing them to our suite of services.
You will have immediate access to our 20,000 strong contact database, giving you a warm starting point to build relationships and secure new business. Your goal is to provide tailored solutions to hiring managers, including:
- Our Premier Job Board: For companies looking for local visibility.
- Contingent Search: Traditional permanent placement services.
- Temporary & Contract Staffing: Providing flexible labor solutions for fluctuating business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Use our database and your own networking skills to identify and outreach to companies that are actively hiring.
- Consultative Selling: Understand a client’s specific pain points and recommend the right mix of job board postings, contract staffing, or direct-hire services.
- Account Management: Maintain long-term relationships with employers to become their go-to partner for all future hiring.
- Full-Cycle Coordination: Manage the process from the initial "pitch" to the final placement, ensuring both the client and the candidate have a seamless experience.
What We Are Looking For
- The "Hunter" Mentality: You are comfortable making cold calls, sending outbound emails, and "knocking on doors" (digitally or physically) to find new opportunities.
- Recruitment or Sales Experience: Previous experience in staffing, HR tech, or B2B sales is highly preferred.
- New Jersey Expertise: A strong understanding of the New Jersey business landscape and a passion for helping the Garden State’s economy thrive.
- Self-Motivation: Since this is a commission-based role, we need someone who is disciplined, organized, and driven by the unlimited earning potential that comes with closing deals.
- Excellent Communication: You must be able to articulate the value of Jersey Hired’s platform and services clearly and professionally.
