Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sign Production & Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with or be willing to learn, installing commercial-grade signs, operating commercial-grade CNC routers and commercial-grade laser printers, and being able to think and work independently.
Duties:
- Assist in installing commercial-grade signage on-site using ladders and standard hand tools
- Experience using or being able to quickly and accurately learn safe operation of commercial-grade CNC routers & commercial-grade laser printers
- Experience with hand-sanding and using sanding equipment, and hand-painting of items with accuracy and no errors
- Set up equipment for safe operation according to production needs
- Ensure OSHA safety standards and quality standards are met
- Follow production schedules and independently prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Qualifications:
- Experience using woodworking electric and hand tools, including but not limited to sanders, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills and ability to think independently and take initiative without explicit direction
