Job Title: Process Engineer
What's the Job?
- Oversee daily operations at the Atchison facility to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability targets are consistently met.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support to address operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to promote consistent and efficient plant operations.
- Support the implementation of expense and capital projects, providing necessary technical documentation and oversight.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing tools such as Zero-Based Analysis (ZBA), GAP analysis, and time studies.
- Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering or related field (required).
- 5 years of ethanol plant experience with deep knowledge of milling, cooking, fermentation, distillation, and dryhouse operation process technologies.
- 2 years of project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with AutoCAD and SAP preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
