Our client is seeking an interim Contracts and Grants Management Consultant to join their team from May through June. As a Contracts and Grants Management Consultant, you will be part of the grants administration function supporting internal academic and administrative stakeholders to ensure continuity of operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently, along with prior experience in a higher education environment and familiarity with grant management systems such as Cayuse.

Pay Rate: $35-45/hour (W2, based on experience)

What’s the Job?
- Support the full grant lifecycle including proposal submission, award administration, and closeout activities.
- Maintain accurate grant records and documentation in accordance with institutional and sponsor requirements.
- Utilize grant management systems to monitor, track, and update grant activity and deliverables.
- Assist with compliance efforts related to institutional policies, sponsor guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support reporting, audits, and grant-related inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of related grants or contracts management experience.
- Experience supporting grant management activities within a higher education environment.
- Familiarity with grant management systems; experience with Cayuse is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and collaboration skills with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
