TMT Sector Specialist – Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Sector Specialist team within the Equities TMT vertical. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high‑quality commentary across the US TMT markets, partnering closely with research, sales, and investment banking, delivering exceptional service to institutional clients. This role is ideal for an energetic, and detail‑oriented individual looking to work in Equities trading, with a focus on TMT, and who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor market developments across the TMT landscape.
• Contribute to content generation and client‑facing commentary, with a focus on the US TMT markets.
• Collaborate with research, sales, and investment banking teams to enhance the overall client offering of the Jefferies’ Equity franchise.
• Maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, providing daily market color and trade ideas.
• Uphold the highest professional standards and represent Jefferies’ culture of integrity, teamwork, and client‑focused execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• MUST HAVE GRADUATED IN MAY OF 2025 OR PREVIOUSLY
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Bloomberg.
• Quantitative aptitude and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑moving, high‑volume environment.
• Exceptional communication skills and client‑facing confidence.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple workflow streams.
• A self‑starter who can operate autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Required licenses: Series 7, 63, and 57 (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
