Role Overview
The Vice President will join the firm’s Secondary Advisory team in New York, with a dedicated focus on GP-led secondary transactions, particularly single-asset and multi-asset continuation vehicles. The VP will play a central role in execution leadership, sponsor relationship management, and transaction structuring, working closely with Managing Directors, senior distribution professionals, and sector banking teams. This role is designed for a banker who combines M&A-level execution rigor with a deep understanding of private capital markets, investor dynamics, and GP objectives across the fund lifecycle.

The Secondary Advisory platform is part of one of the largest and most active fully integrated Private Capital Advisory franchises globally, with a market-leading presence in GP-led transactions and continuation vehicles.
- ~20% global GP-led market share in 2025
- 84 GP-led transactions signed or closed since January 2022
- $55B of GP-led transaction volume signed or closed since 2022
The team operates as one integrated Private Capital Advisory platform, combining:
- 90 dedicated secondary advisory professionals across seven global offices
- 130 private capital professionals globally
The platform combines M&A-style asset underwriting, sector positioning, and disciplined process execution to deliver consistent, above-market outcomes in sponsor-led secondary transactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of single-asset and multi-asset continuation vehicle transactions
- Own financial modeling, valuation analysis, and underwriting materials at both asset and fund level
- Prepare and manage CIMs, management presentations, term sheets, and LP election materials
- Coordinate buyer outreach, bid evaluation, syndication, and closing logistics
- Serve as a day-to-day coverage point for financial sponsors
- Manage Associates and Analysts, maintaining high execution standards
- Support senior bankers in origination and strategic advisory dialogue with GPs
Qualifications & Profile
- 6–9 years of experience in investment banking, private capital advisory, or secondary advisory
- Direct exposure to GP-led transactions or complex sponsor situations
- Strong foundation in valuation, LBO modeling, and private fund economics
- Ability to manage complex processes and senior stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
