Job Summary
The Philanthropy & Corporate Services Manager supports the firm’s corporate philanthropy strategy by managing charitable contributions, employee giving initiatives, and community partnerships. This position involves working closely with Jefferies’ Chief Administrative Office and the Global Head of Corporate Services Operations daily. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced financial services environment. This role is hybrid office/WFH and requires 3 days in-office at our New York Headquarters (520 Madison Avenue).
Key Responsibilities
Global Philanthropy Program
- Provide operational support for the firm’s philanthropy program including volunteer initiatives, and annual campaigns.
- Liaise with external nonprofit partners and internal stakeholders to gather required documentation, confirm eligibility, and ensure timely processing.
- Maintain centralized records of giving activity, approvals, and supporting documentation in line with internal controls and reporting needs.
- Assist with internal communications for firmwide initiatives (e.g., volunteer days, impact summaries).
- Support impact reporting and metrics tracking (participation, dollars donated, volunteer hours), ensuring clean data and consistent categorization.
Global Charitable Giving Program
- Oversee relationships with donation platforms; manage SLAs, data quality, and user support.
- Run the intake, diligence, review, and approval workflow for donations/sponsorships.
- Coordinate vetting for organizations (tax status, sanctions/OFAC checks where applicable, reputational risk, conflicts).
- Maintain policies, procedures, and records; ensure proper documentation for audits and tax/reporting requirements; manage restricted gift handling.
- Define KPIs, collect outcomes from grantees, measure program impact, and produce dashboards/briefings for leadership and audit readiness.
- Advise business leaders on giving requests; coordinate with regional offices and ERGs; ensure consistent application of criteria and messaging.
- Benchmark peer practices, refine eligibility/criteria, streamline workflows, and implement new initiatives based on lessons learned
Cross-Functional Corporate Services Support
- Provide general corporate services support as needed (e.g., vendor coordination, process documentation, employee communications, special projects).
- Help identify opportunities to standardize workflows, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve service levels.
Qualifications
Experience Level:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
- 3 years of experience working in corporate services or philanthropy.
- Experience coordinating firmwide programs is a plus.

- Familiarity with Benevity a plus.
Primary Location: New York Full Time Salary Range of $80,000-$100,000.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
