A well-established community bank is looking to add a Senior Credit Underwriter to their growing Credit team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced credit professional looking to underwrite a diverse portfolio, mentor junior analysts, and gain exposure to senior leadership. Responsibilities:
- Underwrite new and existing commercial loans, primarily focused on CRE and some C&I exposure.
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis and evaluate financial performance, risk, and overall credit quality.
- Analyze transactions generally ranging from $1MM–$10MM.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior credit analysts while working closely with senior credit leadership.
- Assist with portfolio management, including monitoring existing relationships and maintaining strong asset quality.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of commercial credit or underwriting experience.
- Strong CRE loan exposure (C&I, ABL, or portfolio management experience is a plus).
- Strong credit analysis and financial analysis skills.
