JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a large agricultural cooperative with approximately over $23 billion in annual revenue, seeking a Regional Sales Agent to cover their Mountain Area territory. This is a field-based, consultative sales role for a relationship driven professional who enjoys working directly with farm owners and building long-term partnerships in the dairy and agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business production across commercial P&C lines, with a focus on workers' compensation, farm owner policies, and agribusiness accounts
- Build and manage a prospect pipeline through direct farm visits and on-site meetings, coordinating internally to move submissions through to placement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned territory, maintaining consistent outreach to members and reporting regularly on pipeline status and territory activity
- Travel 2-3 weeks out of the month, company car provided
Qualifications
- 2 years in an insurance sales role
- Commercial lines P&C experience preferred; dairy experience is a plus
- Active P&C license required
- Agricultural background strongly preferred
