The ideal candidate will oversee certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts, develop enterprise security requirements, and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and customers. Additionally, this position mentors junior staff, collaborates with stakeholders on risk and resource planning, and supports the implementation of security policies across government and specialized systems.

What you will do:
- Determine functional and technical requirements per DoD Directive 8570.01-M
- Ensure secure integration and operations of computer enclave systems
- Evaluate and solve complex IA-related problems independently
- Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software IA problems
- Prepare and oversee IA certification and accreditation documentation
- Develop system-wide information security requirements
- Support customers in development of doctrine and policies
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
- Coordinate with senior representatives to establish programs and risks
- Serve in consulting and advisory capacity
What you will bring:
- MA/MS in a technical or managerial discipline
- 10 years of experience in information assurance
- CSSP Incident Responder, CSSP Auditor, or CSSP Manager certification
- Expert knowledge of DoD Directive 8570.01-M
- Experience with computer enclave systems security
- Experience preparing IA certification and accreditation documentation
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- Consulting and advisory experience
How you will wow us:
- Extensive experience with DoD Directive 8570.01-M in DISA or DES environments
- Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA
- CSSP Incident Responder, Auditor, or Manager certification
- Expert-level knowledge of DoD enclave security operations
- Experience advising senior DoD leadership on IA policy
- Background in DoD certification and accreditation processes
