What you will do:
- Develop configuration management planning documentation
- Establish provisions for configuration identification and change control
- Identify and maintain original configuration of requirements and design documentation
- Regulate change processes to ensure only approved changes are incorporated
- Track all problems and changes in product documents and software
- Report changes and current configuration status
- Support audits to verify baseline requirements are met
- Support software quality assurance process audits
What you will bring:
- BA/BS in a technical or managerial discipline
- 5 years of experience in configuration management
- Experience with configuration identification and change control processes
- Knowledge of configuration status accounting procedures
- Experience supporting configuration and software quality assurance audits
- Familiarity with requirements and design documentation management
How you will wow us:
- Prior experience supporting DoD, DISA, or Defense Enclave Services (DES) programs
- Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA
- Experience with DoD configuration management standards and practices
- Familiarity with military software development lifecycle processes
- Background in defense contract configuration audits
