Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Marion, NC, responsible for overseeing property service projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating schedules, managing resources and subcontractors, and ensuring grading, demolition, excavating, and site prep work are completed safely, on time, and within scope. The Project Manager will communicate regularly with clients, provide accurate updates on project status, and address concerns or change requests. This role also includes reviewing quotes, monitoring quality and compliance with local regulations, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with field teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong project oversight skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple concurrent jobs.
- Experience with Expediting and Expeditor responsibilities to ensure materials, permits, and approvals are secured in a timely manner.
- Inspection skills to review work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Logistics Management capabilities to coordinate equipment, crews, and materials across multiple sites.
- Knowledge of construction, grading, demolition, or excavating practices, preferably in residential or light commercial settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and on-site teams.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, site drawings, and work orders; familiarity with basic project management or scheduling software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.
