Ground Beef Inventory Clerk (B‑Shift)
Position Summary
The Ground Beef Inventory Clerk (B‑Shift) is responsible for completing all production, inventory, and reporting tasks for the Ground Beef department. This role ensures all batch input, KPI data, Frozen, FTB, and related reports are fully completed and ready for A‑Shift review, supporting accurate inventory control and efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete all batch input for B‑Shift ground beef production.
- Enter and verify KPI data, including yields, throughput, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
- Finalize all Frozen, FTB, and other required ground beef production reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation, including raw materials, WIP, and finished‑goods counts.
- Reconcile B‑Shift inventory numbers with production supervisors.
- Verify lot tracking, material usage, and label accuracy for ground beef items.
- Prepare all B‑Shift reports for A‑Shift review prior to 7:30 AM every day.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues clearly during shift handoff.
- Assist supervisors with timekeeping, attendance reconciliation, and daily paperwork.
- Support production leadership with additional reporting or documentation needs as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills; majority of work performed on a computer.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and production reporting systems.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under time‑sensitive conditions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing production demands.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
