1st Shift Driver - MAD

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive materials and distribute to warehouse location.
• Pull materials for production associates.
• Prepare material for shipping.
• Driving 26' box truck, CDL not required.
• Pull finished product, package on pallets and load truck for local transport
• Deliver finished goods to Customers including placement of goods directly on customer's production line.
• Complete daily logs.
• Requires forklift operation, pallet jacks, shrink wrapping, and labeling.
• Duties are subject to change based on business demands.
• Perform quality inspections as needed for production
• Perform first piece checks using blueprints and different measurement tools
• Verifying correct materials and products before and after being ran on a press
• Perform Quality audits at random throughout the day.
• You will be asked to step in as a supervisor on an as needed basis.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing/shipping environment.
• At least one year of Supervisor experience preferred
• At least one year of Quality experience in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturing.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Driver’s License & box truck experience a plus - No CDL required.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
• Blueprint reading, mics, calipers

Work Schedule:

• Normal Schedule – 40 hours/week
• Overtime scheduled as needed and may be mandatory

Work Environment:

• Work performed in a plant/production environment
• Contains any number of elements including but not limited to fiberglass/insulation material, dust, fumes, and noise.
• Must be able to work as part of a team or independently with limited supervision
