We are partnered with a newly established, well‑capitalised transportation provider building a scalable commercial platform across North America. As part of this growth, the business is hiring a Regional Vice President of Sales – West Coast to lead revenue development and commercial strategy while selling domestically across the US and Canada.
This is a senior, high‑impact role combining hands‑on new business development, strategic account growth, and regional leadership. While the geographic remit is West Coast–based, the role carries full authority to sell domestic transportation solutions nationwide, without lane or regional limitations.
The Role
As Regional VP of Sales, you will own and grow revenue across the West Coast region, while actively selling domestic FTL, LTL, and Dedicated solutions across North America.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and executing the West Coast sales strategy, aligned with national growth plans
- Actively hunting and closing new domestic customers across the US and Canada
- Selling scalable FTL, LTL, and Dedicated transportation solutions, unconstrained by regional lanes
- Developing and expanding existing customer relationships, increasing share of wallet
- Leading, coaching, and scaling a regional sales team as the platform grows
- Remaining personally involved in key strategic accounts and high‑value deals
- Partnering closely with operations, pricing, and executive leadership to deliver competitive solutions
- Building market presence and brand credibility across the West Coast
- Driving pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial performance accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in transportation, trucking, or logistics sales
- Strong background selling domestic FTL, LTL, and/or Dedicated transportation
- Demonstrated success in new business development (hunter profile)
- Ability to grow and retain accounts after initial wins
- Experience owning a regional territory, ideally the US West Coast
- Comfortable leading teams while remaining commercially hands‑on
- Entrepreneurial, role‑building mindset suited to a growth‑stage platform
- Strong understanding of domestic pricing, capacity, and service models
