Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Industrial Engineering to set and lead the strategy for operational excellence across our clients building materials distribution network. This role provides executive‑level leadership for productivity, cost optimization, safety, and scalability across multi‑site warehouse, yard, and transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the industrial engineering and continuous improvement strategy across the distribution network.
- Partner with executive and operations leadership to drive enterprise‑level productivity, cost, and service improvements.
- Oversee labor standards, performance management, and data‑driven decision frameworks.
- Lead Lean / Six Sigma initiatives with material financial and operational impact.
- Influence network design, capacity planning, facility layout, and automation investments.
- Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing industrial engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10 years of industrial engineering experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
- Proven success driving large‑scale transformation in distribution, logistics, or heavy/bulk operations.
- Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and operational analytics.
- Experience in building materials or construction product distribution strongly preferred.
