Job title: Key Account Manager - Global Accounts
Location: New Jersey
I am currently partnered exclusively with an industry leading global Personal Care and Homecare contract manufacturer. We are in search for a talented Key Account Manager for Global Accounts.
The Key Account Manager serves as the commercial and coordination lead and will partner with the Business Development team, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, and manufacturing sites to ensure seamless execution of ongoing programs
This individual will be responsible for managing relationships with existing multinational accounts, with a strong global understanding of the FMCG landscape preferred.
*This position is hybrid, please note this role does not have the potential to be remote.
Essential Requirements:
- 5 yrs experience in the Homecare cleaning industry, ideally contract manufacturing. HI&I or Personal Care CDMO experience also admirable.
- Experience managing multi-million leading global Homecare/FMCG accounts in a similar role.
- Experience managing ongoing pricing, business cases, budgets, forecast revisions and other operational tasks.
- Availability to Travel, approximately 10–20% travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Speak fluent English.
Specific Technical Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with SAP highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Ability to negotiate, interpret commercial terms, and support contract management.
- Skilled in navigating customer relationships under pressure and managing escalations with clarity and composure.
- Demonstrated project management experience with complex, multi‑stakeholder programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support new project onboarding processes and collect required internal data/documentation.
- Maintain accurate price lists, cost cards, and other commercial documentation.
- Prepare cost estimates and support financial analysis as needed.
- Oversee forecasting inputs and track performance versus budget.
- Act as the commercial lead during escalations, partnering with supply chain, operations, and manufacturing sites to drive resolution.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and requests.
- Work cross‑functionally with R&D, operations, quality, and finance to support customer needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of global manufacturing capabilities.
- Support development of KPIs, SLAs, and performance tracking for key accounts.
- Provide administrative and commercial support to internal teams, including monitoring customer scorecards and preparing presentations.
- Build trust‑based relationships with customers through proactive communication, expectation management, and effective problem solving.
- Apply consultative support skills to identify future opportunities in partnership with Business Development.
