set so you know exactly when you will be on call. This schedule will
include either: \--Every other Saturday and Sunday. Hours are 7am
Saturday through 7am Monday. \--OR Saturday one week and Sunday the next
week. Shifts are from 7am one day until 7am the next day. \*1:1 Care:
From paid training to working, you will be able to dedicate your time to
just one person at a time. Our clients are wonderful and appreciate our
help! \*About the Role: As an On Call Caregiver at Jay\'s Legacy,
you\'ll provide non-medical, in-home care to elderly clients, helping to
fulfill our mission of Putting Life Back into Living. \*Availability: Be
available on short notice for last-minute or emergency shifts for the
entire duration of the On Call shift \*Building Relationships: Develop
meaningful connections with clients \*Enhancing Quality of Life: Your
care will bring joy and encouragement, helping clients feel valued and
involved Schedule and Pay: \*Saturday and Sunday have a daily stipend of
\$75 per day just for being on call!! \*If you are called in for a
shift, you will receive an hourly wage of \$17 (and still get the
stipend for the day) \*In addition to on call scheduled days, there are
opportunities to work additional shifts during the week if looking for
scheduled direct care hours. Responsibilities: Must be available on
short notice for last-minute or emergency shifts Provide companionship
and emotional support ADL\'s (activities of daily living) including
bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Meal preparation, light
housekeeping, and medication reminders Assist clients with range of
Motion Therapies (may Be Physically Intense At Times) Qualifications
Prior caregiving experience (1 Year preferred) Ability to respond
quickly and reliably for all On Call requests Experience with sit to
stand and lifts Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Must be able to
pass a caregiver background check Have a valid Wisconsin Driver License
with no major driving infractions Reliable transportation with insurance
Must be able to work weekend shifts as described above. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Prior adult caregiving experience (1
Year) Experience with sit to stand and Hoyer lifts is a plus Pass a
caregiver background check Have no major driving infractions Reliable
transportation w/insurance required Valid Wisconsin Driver\'s License
required Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Must live in Manitowoc
