Building a companionship relationship with our clients is the basis for
the care that we provide. About the Role: As an On Call Caregiver at
JAYS Legacy, you\'ll provide non-medical, in-home care to elderly
clients, helping to fulfill our mission of Putting Life Back into
Living. You will help with daily ADL\'s, get to know about our client\'s
lives, and participate with them in card games, puzzles, etc.
Availability: Be available on short notice for last-minute or emergency
shifts for the entire duration of the On Call shift Building
Relationships: Develop meaningful connections with clients Enhancing
Quality of Life: Your care will bring joy and encouragement, helping
clients feel valued and involved Responsibilities: Be available on short
notice for last-minute or emergency shifts Provide companionship and
emotional support Assist with ADL\'s (activities of daily living)
including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist with meal
preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders Assist clients
with range of motion therapies (may be physically intense at times)
Administer bedside or personal care, such as ambulation or personal
hygiene assistance. Care for individuals or families during periods of
incapacitation, family disruption, or convalescence, providing
companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new lifestyles.
Perform housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes
or dishes, or running errands. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: Prior adult caregiving experience (1 Year) Experience
with sit to stand and Hoyer lifts is a plus Pass a caregiver background
check Have no major driving infractions Reliable transportation
w/insurance required Valid Wisconsin Driver\'s License required Must be
able to lift up to 30 pounds Must live in Manitowoc County \*\*\*\*\*
