What You’ll Do
- Safely operate transit vehicles on scheduled routes.
- Provide friendly, respectful service to all passengers.
- Assist riders with boarding, exiting, or accessibility needs.
- Follow all safety, traffic, and operational procedures.
- Perform basic vehicle pre and post checks and report maintenance needs.
- Represent JAX as the “face of transit” in our community.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but training available).
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check & drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a sense of humor for those “Monday morning” passengers.
Bonus Points If You
- Have experience driving larger vehicles, buses, or delivery trucks.
- Enjoy meeting new people every day.
