Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $10,800 annually ($15.00/hour).
What You'll Do
- Respond to death scenes throughout Jasper County.
- Assist in investigating deaths and documenting findings.
- Collect and preserve information related to death investigations.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, medical providers, and funeral homes.
- Prepare reports and maintain required records.
Position Expectations: This position requires participation in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees should expect to respond to death scenes throughout Jasper County and work in emotionally sensitive situations while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Missouri driver's license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and training.
- Experience in death investigations, law enforcement, EMS, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and meeting County requirements for operating a County vehicle.
