What You'll Do
- Perform skilled maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on County buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Complete grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, landscaping, and seasonal upkeep.
- Respond to maintenance requests and identify repair needs.
- Operate maintenance equipment, tools, and County vehicles.
- Help keep County facilities safe, functional, and well maintained.
Position Expectations: This position requires work both indoors and outdoors throughout the year. Employees should expect to perform physically demanding work, operate maintenance equipment safely, respond to routine maintenance needs, and work in varying weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Three (3) years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, pre-employment fit-for-duty physical, and meeting County requirements for operating a County vehicle.
