1st Shift Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm
2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 3:00pm-1:30am
In this role, you will be responsible for operating various cutting and machining equipment to produce precise metal components according to technical specifications. Your expertise in machine operation, measurement, and safety standards will ensure high-quality output and efficient production processes. Responsibilities
- Operate table saws and misc. saw equipment.
- Use measuring instruments and precision measurement tools for quality inspection and measurement of finished parts.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to safety protocols during machine operation, tooling setup, and material handling.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal machine performance.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and ensure the correct use of hand tools, tooling, and other fabrication equipment.
Qualifications
- Skilled in using measuring instruments for quality control purposes including calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
- Ability to perform shop math calculations necessary for machining and fabrication tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and quality assurance in production processes.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials safely, and operate machinery effectively.
