Job Skills / Requirements

Janco Commercial Cleaning is seeking a reliable and professional Day Porter to join our team at a high-profile facility in Anchorage. This is a daytime position requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. Due to the nature of this facility, a background check and US citizenship are required.

What You'll Do

•       Perform daily janitorial duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restroom maintenance

•       Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, lobbies, and workspaces throughout the day

•       Restock supplies (paper products, soap dispensers) as needed

•       Respond to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner

•       Follow all facility protocols, safety procedures, and security requirements

•       Represent Janco Commercial Cleaning with professionalism at all times

Work Schedule, Insurance & Benefits

Work Schedule:
Janco offers flexible shift options based on building needs and client schedules:

• 1st Shift (Day Shift): Typically between 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 2nd Shift (Evening Shift): Typically between 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• 3rd Shift (Overnight Shift): Typically between 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Most janitorial positions are on 2nd or 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday.
