Job Skills / Requirements

• Assist the Cleaning Supervisor in supervising cleaning staff and daily cleaning schedules.
• Ensure all areas (offices, restrooms, public areas, etc.) meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and report issues to the supervisor.
• Train new cleaning staff on company cleaning protocols, equipment use, and safety procedures.
• Help manage stock levels of cleaning materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Support in preparing work schedules and shift assignments.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in addressing staff or client complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Perform cleaning duties as needed to support the team during busy periods or staff shortages.

Work Schedule:
Janco offers flexible shift options based on building needs and client schedules:

• 1st Shift (Day Shift): Typically between 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 2nd Shift (Evening Shift): Typically between 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• 3rd Shift (Overnight Shift): Typically between 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Most janitorial positions are on 2nd or 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday.
