Jamestown School District is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered 50/50 Dual Language Immersion Teacher to join our team beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. This position serves students in a primary grade classroom within our Dual Language Immersion program and provides standards-based instruction in both English and Spanish. Our program is designed to develop bilingualism, biliteracy, academic achievement, and cross-cultural competence for all students. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our commitment to inclusive practices, strong academic outcomes, and meaningful family engagement. Essential Responsibilities • Provide high-quality, standards-aligned instruction in both English and Spanish in a 50/50 model • Foster biliteracy and academic language development for English Learners and native English speakers • Implement research-based instructional strategies and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs • Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom learning environment • Use assessment and data to guide instruction and monitor student progress • Collaborate with grade-level teams, intervention staff, and administration to ensure student success • Communicate effectively and consistently with families in both languages • Participate in professional development and ongoing program refinement
