The Dungeness River Nature Center (River Center) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and team-driven Office Administration Coordinator to join our dynamic and collaborative work environment. Located in Sequim, WA, the River Center operates a 6,500 square-foot facility within the 70-acre Railroad Bridge Park, featuring interpretive exhibits, classrooms, event spaces, trails, and visitor amenities along the Olympic Discovery Trail. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the River Center partners with the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society, and National Audubon Society to inspire understanding, respect, and stewardship of natural and cultural resources.
As a key member of the team, the Office Administration Coordinator works with staff, Board members, partners, and the community to coordinate efficient daily office operations and maintain business services, records, assets, and supplies. This role manages purchasing of general supplies and services, processes incoming revenue and outgoing disbursements, and supports internal financial controls. The coordinator also assists with human resources processes, administers staff access to organizational systems, and ensures a high level of service for all internal and external customers by fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
**Essential Functions**
Administrative
High school diploma or equivalent required
Four (4) years of experience and/or postsecondary education in business administration, communications, non-profit administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field
Ability to perform a variety of computer-based administrative competencies
Strong computer skills, experience working with databases, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proven experience working with financial records and providing reports to man

**Essential Functions**
Administrative
- Manage licenses/permits and renewals for ongoing or recurring operational functions, including reseller, non-profit organization, and charity permits
- Monitor contract service providers related to long-term DRNC programs, projects, and services including concessions, accounting, and park hosts
- Monitor quality and quantity of general office supplies and equipment; purchase resupply, repair, or replacement as needed in accordance with policy
- Manage business services and purchasing logistics
- Monitor accounts payable and allocation of expenses and income
- Assist Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe with human resources processes as needed, such as logistical aspects of staff onboarding and offboarding
- Assist in management of databases (e.g., CRM) and software platforms throughout DRNC operations; administer systems access in accordance with policy and/or as directed by the Executive Director
- Coordinate and communicate general maintenance and/or IT work requests with partners
- Oversee compliance with DRNC Record Retention Policy, ensuring that all document files are well organized and that staff are trained in policy expectations
- As assigned by the Executive Director, assist the Board Secretary with administrative duties including maintaining records, scheduling meetings, maintaining contact lists, and tracking board terms
- Draft and type various forms, memos, letters, and reports
- Support event and/or committee activities as assigned
- Staff the DRNC front desk when necessary
- Serve as backup point of contact for visitors and volunteers as needed
- Participate in on- and off-site public outreach events as delegated
- Adhere to all Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe policies and procedures, including safety standards and work practices outlined in the Occupational Exposure Control Plan
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director
