- Support primary care services for Healing Clinic patients
- Perform patient triage, venipuncture, EKGs, wound care, and medication administration
- Conduct CLIA-waived testing and assist with chronic care management
- Room patients, obtain vitals, and document patient history
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and treatments
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and health maintenance
- Coordinate continuity of care and support efficient patient flow
- Respond to patient treatment-related calls and requests
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record
- Cross-train to assist with medication dispensing and substance use disorder treatment services
- Collaborate closely with providers, medical assistants, behavioral health staff, and support teams
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid Washington State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Knowledge of professional nursing practices and patient care standards
- Understanding of medications and treatment approaches for chronic medical conditions and substance use disorders, including methadone and buprenorphine
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients who may exhibit challenging behaviors
- Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality regulations
- Valid Washington State Driver's License
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to maintain all required vaccinations for employment
- Previous clinic experience
- Experience using EPIC
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities
- Effective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within integrated or behavioral health care settings
