What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Counsel position at Jameson Legal?
We’re working with a technology group on a Legal Counsel opportunity based in Austin, Texas. This is a rare opportunity to gain broad, high-impact experience early in your career, with direct exposure to senior leadership. You’ll work closely with the General Counsel for Product & Regulatory and the Head of Legal from day one, owning meaningful work, contributing to strategic decisions, and building the foundation for a long-term legal career.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, evaluation agreements, and data licenses
- Provide product and regulatory legal counsel in partnership with senior leadership
- Support and contribute across core in-house legal functions, including legal operations
- Own and optimize high-volume legal processes to drive efficiency and scalability
- Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance legal impact
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the business
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of post-JD legal experience
- JD from a U.S. law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate
Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
