Role Description The Immigration Attorney will handle a full-time, on-site position based in El Paso, TX, representing clients in a wide range of immigration matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing cases, and providing legal advice on visa options, family-based petitions, removal defense, and other immigration benefits. The role involves preparing and filing applications and petitions, drafting legal briefs and motions, and appearing before immigration courts and government agencies as needed. The attorney will maintain detailed case files, communicate regularly with clients about case progress, and collaborate with support staff to ensure timely and accurate case management. The position also includes staying current on changes in immigration law, policies, and procedures to provide informed and effective representation.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of immigration law, including experience with Immigration Law and Immigration Issues.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required

- Hands-on experience handling immigration cases involving Visas and general Immigration matters.
- Ability to analyze and address Legal Issues related to federal immigration regulations and procedures.
- Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico.
- Prior experience practicing immigration law or significant immigration-focused legal internships or clerkships.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds; Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.
