Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license required prior to start of assignment.
- BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
- Minimum one year of physical therapy experience in a hospital setting preferred. (Client-specific requirement.)
- APTA graduate preferred. (Preferred.)
- Experience with standard hospital equipment and EMR systems such as Meditech is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assessing, treating, and planning therapeutic interventions within an acute hospital setting.
- Comfort working within established patient ratios and multidisciplinary hospital teams.
- Previous experience with rotating weekend schedules.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1700.
- Rotating weekends required.
- Scrub color/attire: navy blue.
- Patient ratio typically 1:12.
