Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Yard Foreman to oversee daily operations within our construction yard. This pivotal role involves supervising yard activities, coordinating logistics, and ensuring safety and efficiency across all site operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management software and technical tools. As a Lead Yard Foreman, you will drive project success by managing teams, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
· Load company vehicles in accordance with delivery invoices to include lifting and carrying merchandise, lumber, and building materials, and direct Yard Associates to do the same
· Assist as Yard Associates prepare customer orders
· Ensure that the yard is kept in organized, clean order
· Oversee deliveries and maintenance of all yard equipment in the Manager’s absence
· Maintain a good working relationship with customers, employees, and upper management.
· Maintains appropriate conformance with company safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills
· In-depth knowledge of lumber, construction principles, and related supplies
· Forklift certification
· Previous experience working in a lumberyard
· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
