This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD Specialist based in Birmingham, AL. The CAD Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing technical drawings, adhering to CAD standards, and contributing to the design process using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Other responsibilities include using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools, ensuring accurate and detailed drawings, and collaborating with team members to meet project goals and timelines.
- Strong knowledge of CAD Standards and proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Experience with Technical Drawing and creating precise and detailed designs
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related tools
- Demonstrated ability in preparing, managing, and reviewing drawings with accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
- Experience in industrial design or related fields is a plus
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Design, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred
