Assignment Details
Salem sits near the Willamette River and the Oregon State Capitol, offering both cultural and outdoor options. The city is two hours south of Portland and within a one-hour drive of Silver Falls State Park, which features waterfalls and hiking trails. Salem’s downtown includes the Oregon State Fairgrounds and Riverfront Park, with seasonal events and an urban riverfront setting. The region supports a suburban to small-city lifestyle with access to Willamette Valley vineyards and outdoor recreation in the Cascade Range within roughly 60–90 minutes. Transit options include regional bus service and proximity to Amtrak service in nearby cities.

What We're Looking For
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure in good standing in Oregon, or eligibility to obtain Oregon licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Oregon Educator License with SLP endorsement or eligibility preferred.
- Experience providing services to children birth to 3 years old required.
- Experience in school-based or early intervention settings required.
- Experience conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintaining compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide speech and language therapy for infants and young children, focusing on birth to 3 age range.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized goals and treatment plans aligned with IEPs or early intervention plans.
- Deliver direct and consultative services in school and community settings.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and service providers to support child development and transitions.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
