ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Welcome guests to the store.
- Prepare beverages and serve food products according to department policies and procedures.
- Develop personal, ongoing relationships with customers.
- Float between cashier, barista and other duties as needed.
- Manage cash drawer, and follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Stock and organize store as needed.
- Ensure dining area is clean, free of debris and well maintained.
- Prepare product for later shifts.
- Weigh out beans for the rest of the day and the next shift.
- Maintain the look and feel of a well-run store.
- Assist with training new associates.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous barista and/or retail experience helpful (not required).
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Knowledge of basic retail operations.
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Neat, professional appearance.
UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Normal mobility throughout the facility.
