Sports Bar Shift Leader

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Promote a high level of hospitality to maintain profitability of operations.
• Open or close shifts as deemed by the Beverage Operations Manager.
• Monitor staffing levels during shift.
• Ensure proper training of Sports Bar staff during shift.
• Maintain product quality to the expectations of the Beverage Operations Manager.
• Assist with monthly inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Receive all goods in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform regular Sports Bar duties (e.g. bartending, waiting tables, etc.).
• Lead by example.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in the Food & Beverage industry required.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong training skills.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of POS system.
• Bar equipment knowledge.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do the same.

• Mobility throughout the facility.
• Frequent heavy lifting.
• Frequent bending and stooping.
• Able to walk extensively.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
