Summary
As a Payroll Administrator at Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships, you will be an integral part of our finance team, ensuring accurate payroll processing for our 340 employees. This role is vital in maintaining our commitment to employee satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and timely for all employees across multiple locations.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage employee data entry into payroll systems, including Paychex and DealerTrack.
Assist with accounting functions as needed to support financial operations.
Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Generate payroll reports for management review and audits.
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee classifications and benefits administration.
Respond to employment verifications and other agency inquiries.
Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legislation.
Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets)
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to analyze financial data effectively to support decision-making processes.
Familiarity with Paychex and DealerTrack is a plus but not required.
Prior experience in the Automotive Industry is preferred, but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across departments.
