POSITION TITLE Controls Engineer Japanese Bilingual

Position Summary

In this position, you will be responsible for the design, programming, integration, testing, and commissioning of industrial automation systems, delivering high-quality solutions to manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial control systems for custom automation equipment
• Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs from scratch
• Design HMI applications and operator interfaces
• Perform system integration, testing, and optimization
• Support machine startup, debugging, FAT, and SAT activities
• Collaborate with customers on technical requirements and provide solutions
• Maintain technical documentation including drawings, code, and manuals
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control-related issues
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Japanese (native or business-level proficiency, required)
• English (working proficiency)
• Minimum 3 years of controls engineering experience
• Experience developing PLC systems from scratch
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• The candidate needs to report to the office every day.
  
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with automotive or welding automation systems
• Experience with servo/motion control or machine vision
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical
  
  
  

SALARY USD100,000-130,000
