SALARY USD220,000-270,000
Position Summary
In this position, you will lead the product strategy, development, and operations of mobile applications and connected services for electric and hybrid vehicles, delivering exceptional customer experiences for global users. You will also play a key role in driving innovation, strengthening the product organization, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for mobile applications and related connected systems
- Improve customer experiences and develop new services through data analysis, user research, and market insights
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to define requirements, develop specifications, and align priorities
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing product management teams
- Partner with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to drive product development and execution
- Establish best practices in product management, user experience design, and technical integration
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to collaborate with key stakeholders (approximately 10–15%)
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese
- 12 years of product management experience
- Experience developing consumer-facing products or services involving hardware components such as vehicles, devices, or sensors
- 4 years of people management experience
- Deep expertise in UX/UI, iOS and Android application development, data-driven optimization, and software-hardware integration
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the automotive industry or a related sector
- Experience working in both large enterprise and startup environments
- Interest in electric vehicles, mobility solutions, and Software Defined Vehicles (SDV)
