Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities
- Travel domestically and internationally to visit customers and support sales expansion
- Collaborate with sales teams to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Plan and execute sales and marketing initiatives for new account development
- Build strong customer relationships through education, service, and ongoing support
- Participate in tastings, trade shows, and promotional events
- Prepare reports related to new account development, market trends, competitors, and sales performance
- Support and attend sake, shochu, beer, and whisky-related events
- Create and manage social media content to maintain strong brand engagement
- Participate in inventory counts and internal meetings, including those held outside normal business hours
- Business-level English proficiency
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Business-level Chinese proficiency
- 4 years of sales experience in Japanese alcoholic beverages, or strong experience in Japanese food sales or the restaurant business
- Sake-related certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with ERP systems
- Basic mathematical skills, including markups, discounts, inventory counting, and unit conversions
- Strong knowledge of Japanese alcoholic beverages
