Why this job – STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

If you are a detail-oriented professional with a few years of foundational experience (or great internships) and are eager to break into the dynamic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space, this is your shot. This newly created role is designed for a self-starter who loves solving puzzles and isn't afraid to ask clarifying questions. You will own the high-volume transactional pulse of the company—managing the influx of AR and AP as products fly off the shelves—while gaining valuable mentorship and a clear path for upward mobility.

What You'll Actually Do:

• Own and execute day-to-day transactional accounting, managing the rising volume of accounts receivable and accounts payable generated by active product shipments.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
• Perform critical account reconciliations, variance analysis, and inventory tracking.
• Maintain rock-solid documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and support upcoming audits.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2 years of foundational accounting experience (high-quality internships count toward this!).
• Solid understanding of core GAAP principles.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and an absolute obsession with accuracy in transactional work.
• A curious, problem-solving mindset and a total comfort with a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong Excel skills; prior exposure to accounting systems (NetSuite a huge plus).

• Target Compensation: $70K – $75K base bonus Equity Participation.
• Hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, AFTER TRAINING).
• Boulder, CO (includes paid parking).
