Why this job – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

Join this dynamic software organization as their Senior Accountant to serve as a pivotal team member in a close-knit, finance team. This hands-on position is designed for an autonomous, resourceful professional who excels in full-cycle general ledger accounting. Working remotely while keeping a finger on the pulse of regional operations, you will own bank and GL reconciliations, manage US and Canadian sales tax filings, and streamline month-end close procedures. What You'll Actually Do:

• Lead full-cycle General Ledger accounting, including daily bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account balance reconciliations.
• Manage US state sales tax filings along with Canadian GST/HST and provincial tax returns.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, including revaluations, consolidations, and eliminations.
• Partner with the Accounting Manager to drive process improvements, system workflows, and accounting documentation.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5 years of progressive, hands-on general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong foundation in GAAP, month-end close, and multi-state/Canadian sales tax reporting.
• Hands-on experience with large ERP system.
• Public accounting experience and/or a CPA license is a plus.
• High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and comfort working independently in a remote setting.

Where and How Much:

• Target Compensation: $100K – $115K 10% annual bonus.
• 100% remote, flexible hours
• Must be able to visit Lone Tree, CO office 2-3 times/month
