Why this job – MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:
We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-driven Maintenance Engineer to keep a complex production environment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. In this fast-paced, industrial setting, you’ll troubleshoot equipment issues, plan and execute preventative maintenance, and minimize unplanned downtime to protect throughput and quality. Partnering closely with Operations and leadership, you’ll implement maintenance best practices, track and analyze equipment performance, and align reliability initiatives with production goals to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What You'll Actually Do:
- Investigate production issues and identify opportunities for process optimization, energy savings, and automation.
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Specify and procure materials and equipment for maintenance and project needs.
- Prepare cost estimates, project justifications, and approval documentation.
- Recommend equipment types and specifications to enhance site assets.
- Develop operating procedures and train production staff on new equipment.
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, and utility system troubleshooting.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related field)
- 1-5 years hands-on maintenance or engineering experience
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
- Ability to implement schematics, manuals, and SOPs
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with maintenance planning, work order management, and spare parts tracking
- Clear, confident communicator with a knack for staying organized, prioritizing work, and following through on details
Where and How Much:
- Target Compensation: $85K to $100K, plus bonus
