Why this job – ACCOUNTING MANAGER:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, technology-enabled SaaS and service solutions company as their new Accounting Manager. In this newly created role, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, compliance activities, and key cash flow processes, all within a dynamic, multi-entity environment. Partnering closely with the Controller, CFO, and cross-functional teams across the U.S. and Hungary, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations as the company restructures, launches new entities, and scales its offerings.
This is a visible leadership position where you’ll manage and develop junior team members, refine and enhance processes, and help shape the accounting function—offering a clear path for career growth as the company continues its impressive trajectory.
What You'll Actually Do:
- Lead the month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and financials—right arm to the Controller
- Review and approve AR/AP activity, ensure proper coding, and oversee vendor payments within the ERP
- Manage daily accounting operations, including AR/AP oversight, bank reconciliations, cash activity, and compliance items (business licenses, local taxes)
- Oversee the mid- to late-month operator payment cycle, reviewing property results, coordinating statements, and ensuring accurate, on-time payments
- Provide hands-on leadership to the Staff Accountant and AR/AP Specialist, reviewing work and helping prioritize workloads
- Partner with sales and account management to resolve client payment issues, respond to ad-hoc requests, and support the onboarding of new deals
- Drive process improvements and ERP enhancements to streamline workflows and support new entities
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close exposure
- Leadership experience, including mentoring junior staff
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting operations
- Experience with large or complex ERPs (Business Central preferred)
- Process-driven mindset with a record of improving workflows
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration across teams
- Comfortable in a flexible, evolving environment
- Effective time management to handle shifting priorities
Where and How Much:
- Target Compensation $90K - $100K DOE solid bonus potential
