Our client is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney with 7 years of experience to join one of New York's premier, Chambers rated construction litigation practices. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney representing owners, developers, contractors, lenders, and other commercial real estate stakeholders who is ready for more sophisticated work, greater responsibility, and a realistic path toward partnership.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling complex construction and development disputes, including construction agreements, delay and defect claims, payment disputes, mechanic's liens, commercial lease related construction matters, adjacent property disputes, and RPAPL Section 881 proceedings. Strong writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills are essential, along with experience advising sophisticated commercial real estate clients on significant New York projects.
New York bar admission is required. Compensation is $245K to $275K , plus a competitive bonus program and outstanding benefits.
