Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for hourly and contract employees on a weekly basis.
- Collect, verify, and input employee timesheets and attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or initiate direct deposits.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, garnishments, benefits, and tax information.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate benefit deductions and tax withholdings.
- Assist in audits and month-end/year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s and other tax forms.
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations and recommend updates to policies and procedures.
- 4 years of payroll processing experience; experience with Foundation Payroll for Construction is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Experience with multi-state payroll.
- Certified Payroll Processing.
