Work Experience Requirements
Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
Ability to communicate and work well with others
Organized and can work in a fast-paced environment
Must have general computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Experience in the floral industry is a must
Daily Duties
Compile and enter weekly sales orders into Floral Software and Excel Spreadsheets
Enter Purchase Orders to Floral Software and assist in allocating for sales orders
Process and bill up sales orders
Communicate with farms and cargo agencies to make sure we have all invoices and documentation
Match up invoices to airway bills and shipping manifests
Calculate and monitor shipping rates
Track shipments to make sure product is released for the correct arrival date
Assist in managing inventory to ensure proper rotation of stock
Create Daily and Weekly price lists
Additional Responsibilities
Communicate with farms to negotiate prices and coordinate shipments
Learn names, origin, and varieties of flowers
Walk through the coolers/warehouse to check the quality of product
Hours
6am-3pm Monday - Friday
7am-10am Every Other Saturday
