Office Assistant – J&J Lawn Care LLC
J&J Lawn Care LLC is looking for an organized, reliable, and friendly Office Assistant to help manage the day-to-day administrative side of our landscaping company. This person will work closely with the owners and help keep our customers, schedules, billing, and office operations organized.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with basic questions
- Respond to customer emails and messages in a professional and timely manner
- Add new jobs, estimates, appointments, and service requests to the company schedule
- Help coordinate scheduling changes between customers and our crews
- Send invoices to customers and help keep track of outstanding invoices
- Enter and organize customer information
- Help organize paperwork, receipts, job information, and company records
- Follow up with customers regarding scheduling, estimates, invoices, and service questions
- Take detailed messages for the owners and crew leaders
- Help keep the office organized and make sure important tasks do not get overlooked
- Assist the owners with other basic administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
- Professional and friendly attitude
- Comfortable using email, scheduling software, invoicing software, and basic computer programs
- Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Basic landscaping knowledge is preferred — the candidate should understand common landscaping services and terminology well enough to communicate with customers and properly schedule work
- Previous office, administrative, customer service, landscaping, or property management experience is a plus

J&J Lawn Care LLC is a full-service landscaping company serving Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, and surrounding areas of Lower Fairfield County. We provide property maintenance, planting and landscape installation, lawn care, seasonal services, and other landscape services.
We are looking for someone who can become a dependable part of our operation and help the owners stay organized as the company continues to grow.
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
